Vinicius Jr wants to stay at Real Madrid

  Vinicius Jr has reiterated his desire to stay at Real Madrid beyond 2027.

The Brazilian winger's contract expires in the summer of next year but the forward is relaxed over his future.

"I want to stay here for a long time," he said after Real's win over Monaco. 

"There's also a lot of talk about my contract renewal because I have another year left. We're very relaxed about it. 

"I trust [Real Madrid president Florentino Perez], and he trusts me. We have a very good relationship, and we'll sort things out at the right time. We're in no hurry to do that."

Nwaneri: Marseille one of the biggest clubs in Europe

Ethan Nwaneri has spoken for the first time since moving to Marseille on loan. 

The Arsenal teenager arrived in the south of France yesterday to complete a loan until the end of the season, amid a struggle to make the Gunners matchday squad in recent weeks. 

"It's one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and I'm ready to help the team," Nwaneri told reporters outside Marseille Airport.

"He [De Zerbi] is one of the best coaches in the world, he's demanding. And I'm ready to play under him and listen to what he wants from the team."

Asked about Nwaneri after Marseille's 3-0 loss to Liverpool, Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi said: "He's a very good player, he's important for us because we are playing many games in a row. 

"We need new energy, fresh energy and fresh players."

Engels expected to stay at Celtic
